Here are my pros and cons:Pros:Beautiful lobby and lovely grounds; great pools; spacious rooms with nice amenities and oh so quiet; friendly and courteous staff; fitness center that was the best I've been to on a hotel property; fantastic meal at Amasia; nice beach area; adult pool was a bonus; close proximity to airport and Lahaina.

4. The beach is public, and it wouldnt take much for anyone to help themselves to the amenities and pools offered by this hotel.

5. We loved the decor and the amenities of the building, but our suite was directly under the concierge lounge, and we were awakened every morning at 5am by staff rolling carts and banging trays setting up the breakfast over our room.

6. I went jogging for miles on both sides of the hotel and found nothing that could touch it from an amenities and beauty standpoint.

8. This is the only resort of this many stars I have been to with my children (and I have been to quite a few), that they have not given my kids a beach pail/toys or some sort of welcome amenity.
