5. Again if you want to justify luxury resort prices, I expect luxury service, not the service I could have gotten at the Marriott for 1/2 the price.

6. -Kauai Grille- I didn't personally eat there- however I did ask a number of people I met who were staying there, they reported the food quality was inconsistent, some outstanding, some adequate, but again one needs to justify the prices.

7. Food and drink prices are totally in line with high end properties and were actually lower than some of the other less exclusive hotels in Hawaii (for example, the Fairmont Orchid in Kona isn't even a shadow of the hotel as this one, and its food and drinks were much higher).
