1. One of the waitresses at the bar overheard the conversation and could see I was having some difficulty with Mike, so she helped me select the right champagne, I ordered through her and went back out to the balcony to see the tail end of the sunset.

4. For people who enjoy an evening drink on the balcony watching the sun set over the mountains it was a very welcome upgrade.

5. The rooms without balconies have huge windows that open up to the outside air (you can even slide the screens back, so it is truly open) and there is a bench or ledge that you can sit on that worked just as well for my wife and me.

Cons:It's difficult to come and go with surf board, loud kids at pool (right outside your room), valet (kind of inconvenient when you want to come and go and they have plenty of space for a self park lot), No fridge, ice only at turndown, very pricey drinks at pool-mixed drink is about $14 average, No balcony on most rooms, no free wi-fi (this should be a given).
