1. Yes, people who stay at the St Regis are in general well situated financially, but few people like hemorrhaging money at the rate this property necessitates, particularly when much of the food is passable at best.

8. I agree with all the previous comments-it's a pricey hotel from the $30 a day valet parking to the $34 breakfast buffet but if you're booking the hotel, be prepared to spend money.
