1. She first recommended the hotel as any employee would do first but when i told her how i felt about the price and quality of food and rather something else, she understood and told me of Big Island Grill, Teshima, and Coffee Shack.

8. My wife and I ate in the hotel a couple of times and the food was really good, if not a bit pricey for us Britts, there was a resort charge of $20 per day, but with free shuttle travel to and from Kona, free Wi-Fi etc, that was ok.
