8. - Very nice hotel, big rooms, free wifi, spectacular balconies, comfy beds, very clean- 10-15 min drive to Kailua-Kona- no better hotel for the price-range on the Big Island, as far as my planning & experiences go.

One night we accidentally got locked out on our balcony (child closed the sliding door quickly and had improperly positioned the lock) and after an amusing conversation with a passing guest, who kindly went to the lobby to seek our rescue, maintenance staff showed up within seconds to let us back in.
