3. We had no view at all, except of nearby buildings and an alley, but the result was a nice, quiet room (and we were only on the 6th floor, so I was a little worried).

4. Our room was on the back of the hotel which meant no view and a constant background noise from the air handling equipment located at ground level in the area between the hotel and the neighboring building.
