1. Staff was friendly and very helpful, particularly the bellhops who held our bags between checkout time and departure time.

The location was outstanding (only a few blocks to the White House, a short walk to the Smithsonian, etc), they accommodated our 11:30am arrival, they provided us with a rollaway for the 11 year old for no extra charge, they allowed us a 1:30pm checkout, they ran to my car and got my umbrella for me when I forgot it, provided a free 24-hour business center with computers and a printer, had free internet in the rooms.

6. I requested a late checkout, at 1st was denied by the night staff then in the morn tried it again and was given till 3pm.

10. When we called on our checkout day three days later, we were told that there was no record of late checkout for our room and we had to be out at 12 because they had overbooked.
