1. Jerry Good, the unbelievable concierge, truly went out of his way to arrange reservations and even had a surprise waiting for my daughter and myself at one of the best restaurants.

10. He gave us walking directions, subway directions, and suggestions of another place to eat when we wanted a less expensive breakfast option than the hotel's fine French restaurant Brasserie Jo (which is wonderful).
