6. Enjoyed my one-night stay at the Colonnade - our corporate rate gave us a discount on a meal at Brasserie Jo plus a voucher for a taxi ride to our office and frequent flyer miles at a choice of airlines -- really nice.

7. We stayed at the Colonnade because we had tickets to the Huntington Theater and it was close by, and I got a good rate from a discount hotel website.

10. The Colonnade staff was gracious enough to offer a discounted room rate (2 x more that original hotel but still a kindness they didn't have to offer) and then on top of that, they gave us a suite.
