3. I am an I Prefer member and meant to receive extras such as complimentary internet, free upgrade, and welcome amenity; none of these were offered, and even after saying I was a member at check in, we were still charged for internet, and told that we would have to pay for an upgrade.

4. The room was very clean, with modern minimalist styling, big window, flat screen tv, clock radio with iPod dock, Keurig coffee maker, and complimentary rubber duck, among other amenities.

5. It is well worth it to sign up for the I Prefer program online beforehand, as it qualifies you for a room upgrade and complimentary wireless internet (more on that later).

9. We were put on the top floor as requested through Virgin holidays, and shortly after arriving the hotel sent up complimentary champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries for our special occasion.

10. The staff at the Colonnade went above and beyond, adding wonderful complimentary touches such as the champagne, liqueur, and chocolates, while also being incredibly helpful with my lost airline luggage situation.
