5. It's also literally adjacent to a major highway, so I could hear the traffic noise constantly.

6. Bad: road noise on I-35 side of hotel; complicated access from streets; in need of renovation (ours seemed to be a rehabbed smoking room); confusing floor plans on sleeping and meeting floors; tiny, tiny bathroom, with sink outside in room; limited TV channelsI would stay again, but would consider other options.
"Ok but with drawbacks " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/5/2011 Vote
7. However, they were doing construction across the street, so the noise level was quite disturbing.
"Average. Fulfilled it's purpose, and that is all. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/18/2011 Vote
8. To solve the road noise issue, I set my AC fan to on (instead of auto) and used the white noise to drown out the cars (which weren't terribly loud to begin with).

9. While there was a little traffic noise in my room (facing the highway on the 11th floor), I heard nothing from 6th Street and realized that that part of my concern was unfounded as the hotel is a few blocks from the main club and bar area.
"Suprised by the Quality of the HGI " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/22/2011 Vote
