1. The staff were helpful and friendly but be carefull with the valet parking service.

2. Valet parking is available if you want to pay $25-40 extra per night (depending on whether you go with the hotel's valet parking or some nearby valet parking), but we were on a budget and so we parked on the street instead.

6. The only thing is that I had to wait to get my car back in the morning for about 30 minutes, they have a valet parking for 35 dollars it's convenient but call from your room in advance if you are in a hurry.

Still renovated rooms are great, location is good (restaurants on Russian Hill, in Union Square district, North Beach and Chinatown are all walking or short cab (low cost) distance), unless you walk the Tenderloin, valet parking was polite & reliable, and overall the stay's value for money was absolutely acceptable in pricy San Francisco.
