1. Windows open, but there are no screens, and since my room looked down on the second story roof below, open windows let in all the HVAC and other mechanical noise.

3. It had great views towards Central Park and down Madison Avenue - one downside was the noise of the traffic as the windows are not that well insulated.

10. I'm a city girl (I actually live in NY, but don't have enough room for all of us in my apartment) and am used to street noise, but it was unusually evident here (fortunately the neighborhood itself is relatively quiet, but traffic and garbage trucks are still easily heard).
