8. There was no continental breakfast provided at the Wales, as promised, but we did not miss this as there are plenty of places to eat breakfast within 2 minutes of the hotel.

9. Coming down to the spacious breakfast room every morning is pleasant, even if the complimentary continental breakfast (fresh croissants, bagels, toastable wholewheat bread, yoghurt, etc.) is nothing special.

10. The continental breakfast was adequate, and we enjoyed the mezzanine-level space with constant coffee machine, computer access, etc. We were very pleased with hotel service.
