Other minuses: The free
breakfast
included in room price was not a full buffet, but a relatively light affair with some breads, juice, and coffee.

Small things like complimentary WiFi would have made the stay better - bed and
breakfast
s we stayed at in upstate New York managed this with no problem.

Sarabeth's restaurant is downstairs, and handles the room service for the hotel (great

and brunch, btw).

For example, if a room is not ready on time, the air conditioning is not working adequately, or the complimentary
breakfast
is no longer being served, other perks could be offered instead.

There was no continental
breakfast
provided at the Wales, as promised, but we did not miss this as there are plenty of places to eat
breakfast
within 2 minutes of the hotel.

Coming down to the spacious
breakfast
room every morning is pleasant, even if the complimentary continental
breakfast
(fresh croissants, bagels, toastable wholewheat bread, yoghurt, etc.) is nothing special.

The continental
breakfast
was adequate, and we enjoyed the mezzanine-level space with constant coffee machine, computer access, etc. We were very pleased with hotel service.
