1. The rooms were very warm however, despite being in the 50s outside and while the aircon was very effective the noise prohibited its use at night.

4. Why 4 stars? The room was noisy with traffic noise at night - almost felt like you were sleeping on the sidewalk at times.

7. There was noise on the street outside from some construction but as soon as I mentioned it they moved me to a quieter, better room.

8. Oh, there was also a lot of construction right out front and across the street, and there is a fire station less than a block away so there is some noise, but obviously the construction is temporary and it certainly wasn't anything unbearable.

9. There was some noise from a private party on our last night (nothing to do with hotel and must have been in an adjacent building) which we asked about when we checked out and the staff apologised and discounted our bar bill - truly excellent service.
