5. What stood out at the The Strand for us though was the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff - it seemed as though there wasn't enough they could do for us - in particular a big thanks to Betty (Manager of Desires) and Jose, Robin, Eloy on the front desk and Adrian & Jamie.

6. Betty Ruiz was the manager of desires and she added a few nice touches like having some complementary red bull and popcorn in the room along with a daily call to see if there were any other unmet needs during my stay.
