7. All in all, if I had to stay in downtown Miami again (quite a big if) and was willing to spend $400-500, I would certainly stay somewhere else (probably the Mandarin).

Were were upgraded as part of our honeymoon and also had champagne and strawberries on arrival :-) Pool area was lush, pool attendants really look after you, food good, and has Zuma restaurant in the lobby (the spot to be)20min taxi ride to SOBE around 30$, so was a bit out of the way, especially as not a lot to do downtown area, but epic great just to relax.

10. The hotel is in a good position for walking around the pleasant front area of Downtown Miami , Bayside is an easy walk with shops and restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe and Hooters.
