1. When booking our room directly with the hotel, I specified that I preferred a room away from the elevator to avoid noise.

9. Some things we wished were different/better: front desk staff was just ok, didn't go out of way to help; computer chair and some cabinet handles were not clean and a bit sticky (yuck); weird noises from fridge and some train noises at night.
