1. Stay in the downtown area if you want shops and restaurants but this Hotel was great value and location for families or if you want to be close but not too close to many sites of Washington.

8. We got the room for $160/night with the AAA discount, and felt it was a good value, especially since it is DC, the suite was spacious and the breakfast was super.
