1. I did check the bed and sheets extensively (as I always do when staying at a hotel) and it was clean.

2. We should’ve left that hotel feeling like a king and a queen, items replaced or cleaned, hotel staff accommodating our needs, and instead, we left in shame and disgust, neglected and forgotten.
