3. To pick a reasonable hotel, then drive back up the keys to a more affordable hotel in the Miami Beach or Naples areas where the rates are more down to earth (and the competition is more keen).

6. If you want the Key West experiance, I would recommend a cruise, then you have the accomidations of the ship and it would be much more affordable.

7. Staff is not overly friendly and as a matter of fact, the Bell Hop would ask us where we went to dinner and then follow our comments with how broke he was and he can`t afford to eat out.

8. You may decide you can afford the room, but by the time they tack on tax,18 dollar a day 'resort fee', and the capper for me was the 12 dollar a day 'parking fee', you are well over what you thought you would spend.

9. The Casa is not located in the heart of the action and that was perfect as it afforded us peace and quiet with just a short walk to the heart of Duval.
