1. No free wi-fi in the bedrooms, but free in the bar area downstairs.

2. This may well have been fluke, and to their credit, the hotel felt so bad about it that they gave our group an hour of free beer near the end of our stay, but it still took them the better part of the two weeks to get the elevators (sort of) working.

3. Budget hotels usually give you free breakfast and free internet, but Sheratons always charge for both of those (and the internet speeds were extremely slow).

4. In my view this is totally unacceptable in 2012 when internet access is essentially free at any coffee house and 1 star hotel.

5. We asked for free breakfast when we checked in and they gave it to us :) Overall very pleased with my stay and the location was perfect to explore Austin by foot.

8. The club lounge (that I got access to for being SPG Gold) really made it great for me, because I got a nice, free, hot breakfast every morning, hors d'ourves every night, and I could always pop in for a free cold drink or banana or granola bar throughout the day.

9. - No refrigerator or microwave in room- Not convenient to clubs or convention center (walkable, but about a mile away)- No continental breakfast (might be expected for the price); for pay options were pretty expensive (something like paying for bacon by the strip)- Internet access in room is an additional fee and free public hotspots in hotel are very small (not a good option during our in-hotel business event), requiring frequent re-activation- Parking is $16/night, although we got a group rate of $8/night.

10. Why?? so many hotels now inc free wifi I really think in this day and age it should be included.
