2. Don't let this put you off the hotel, it probably just a problem with one room, but my advice would be to check you cooling works and works well when you first get your room, otherwise ask to change rooms.

4. Stayed here for two nights over the weekendHotel itself is excellent, reception was great, parking is easy, well located, Breakfast was relly nice, health centre and pool/jacuzzi really niceRoom itaelf had a musty smell, and our biggest issue was the heating/cooling unit was really really weak.

7. I recommend checking out Waller Creek behind the hotel's pool for a cool stone walkway that runs along the creek until campus, where it emerges right beside the Erwin Center.

8. Great location; downtown is quite a mix, certainly a place we didn't spend much time, but it was a short walk to the capital building and the University of Texas, easy access to I-35 and Lamar - a street which houses many of Austin's cool eateries.
