3. Well yeah it is civic center, it is the heart of San Francisco what do you expect? Renoir Hotel works pretty well for me, I love the location.

4. I did not think I was going to like the hotel the first time, but I have been so many times there and it is because I do love the placethe front desk, bellman.

5. You can see lovely bits of architecture here and there that show you the property was once probably ultra-sophisticated in the 1930s, but until someone comes along and does a FULL restoration of the building (and maybe picks the building up in its entirety and plops it down in another location in San Francisco), it's sad to see how what was once a grand dame has fallen to the trollop level.

8. it is also located on the edge of the Civic Centre area which is lovely but surrounded by homeless people, some of which look like drug users.

9. We stayed for the love Fest the first week of October and our stay was a bit rough here but I'll start with the positives we were only across the street from the love Fest action so that was a good thing and the staff was great and super helpful.
