2. The upsides of staying here are: 1) cost - it is inexpensive 2) staff - extremely helpful and 3) location & convenience (a BART station to the airport is about 1/2 a block away and it is near many of the government buildings, libraries, art museum etc.

3. Whilst it is conveniently located on the tram line (market street) close to a train station and within quick walking distance to Union square, it seems to be a haven for the homeless and there was a constant smell of pot and urine in the air.

4. Renoir Hotel is less than a block from the Civic Center BART and it is located along Market Street, so it is very convenient to public transportation.

7. The Street Car is just infront of the hotel, the Bart is across the street, very convenient because it connects you to both airports OAK and SFO.
