2. To me, the Clift is like dating a bipolar person - sometimes the rooms are absolutely beautiful and clean and the staff is helpful and personable - other times, the rooms are mediocre at best and the entire staff seems to be suffering from a hangover.

4. We stayed at the Clift in January, it was a decent hotel, beautiful foyer area, the suite we stayed in was quite large, with probably the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in, the service was very good, especially by Andrea at concierge.

7. The service is very good and helpful, the location near Union square is very central and convenient, the building is impressive, the lobby downstairs and the bar are beautiful and definitely worth spending an evening at, with a cocktail or two.
