1. There was a bit of a misunderstanding about a late checkout that could have been handled better by the front desk, but all in all the service was terrific and I really enjoyed the hotel.

4. Despite the fact that one's first impression might be sketchy, after being welcomed to Skid Row by the locals, the Monaco is well situated just two blocks from Union Square, some of the world's best shopping, theaters and terrific restaurants.

7. The hotel was in a terrific location- a few blocks from Union Square and the cable car line, walking distance to Chinatown and North Beach- we walked to Coit Tower for a gorgeous view of the whole city-Overall, a terrific experience.

8. We had booked the free parking package which was a terrific deal for a spot so close to Union Square- we pulled up in front of the hotel and our car was valet parked for free in supervised ramp around the corner.
