2. Between the Palomar and the Monaco I would say the Monaco is much more beautiful and grand with it's painted ceilings and gorgeous woodwork.

7. The hotel was in a terrific location- a few blocks from Union Square and the cable car line, walking distance to Chinatown and North Beach- we walked to Coit Tower for a gorgeous view of the whole city-Overall, a terrific experience.
