1. I thought we would hear a lot of street noise, but with the exception of a few sirens on St Patrick's Day night (tons of parties in the town), it was quiet.

5. - We were on the side of the hotel that was off of Geary and we did not hear a sound, except 2 police sirens, and a barking dog for a short while, who was down the hall on the last night.
