8. I had mentioned in our online reservation that the reason for our stay was my boyfriend's birthday, when we entered our room, there was a silver platter, with a beautiful handcrafted dessert of mouse, caramelized bananas, and a chocolate bar with the words 'Happy Birthday' written on it.

9. First off, the reason that we chose Sofitel was because we fell in love with Sofitel after a week's stay in Moorea, French Polynesia.

10. That being said, it is my understanding that the other fees (such as parking, etc) can get up there in price and the breakfast certainly isn't free but if you watch the extra's you can have a really nice stay in a VERY nice hotel (one of the best I have ever stayed in) for a reasonable price.
