1. My 12 year old daughter and go to Chicago and have a hotel we normally stay at, but now Sofitel is our new favorite.

6. The guest rooms are a little smaller than the rooms at the Sofitel in new York but of a similar design and layout.

7. The staff at the front desk was exceptional and quickly and easily renegotiated a new rate for the Presidential suite, even after we had already gone up to our room and it was not a problem.

10. cheap fixtures, carpet, and other furnishings are noticeable, especially when compared to other newer Sofitel properties in Europe (including the fabulous new Sofitel at T5 at Heathrow).
