3. Stop by the separate hotel bar before dinner for an apertif or afterwards for a final libation; the atmosphere is cozy and there is even a fireplace to enjoy on cool nights.

4. the good- the beds in sofitel are fantastically comfortable- the room and bathroom are beautifully designed and a good size- very close to madison ave- cool looking building- fruit provided in gymfriendly staff without being in your face(everything about this hotel is great - just a few nitpicking niggles)the less good.
