2. We were on the 17th floor, there were only 2 elevators for over 30 floors but generally they came quickly.

5. Maybe they think that being dark and dank are for 'atmosphere or ambience' but it's probably actually to hide all the ancient paint and deterioration and general disrepair of the place.

8. On arrival the front desk were not helpfull at all, didn't tell us about the free coffee or about the hotel in general.

9. We got a good price on the hotel and flights so value for money for this hotel we thought was pretty good, for a base in new York I don't think you can complain about location or room sizes, in general we were pretty happy with our stay.
