Arrived at alqonquin on 9/11 after making a very late booking, met by very pleasant and welcoming front desk no probs on checkin, a very oldfashioned feel to all areas did not realise how historic the hotel was it felt like being back in the 1930s you could sense at any moment douglas fairbanks walking through the front door.
