2. The room on the 7th floor was small (perhaps not by NYC, especially Empire State area, standards), but extremely clean and contained everything one needed, including a very charming, if a little tiny, bathtub.

The staff are excellent, the lobby is lovely however the regular rooms (I am sure the suites are much better) were 'just basic' bed was good, room was clean but the room was so small (and we have travelled Europe extensively and this is the smallest room we have ever had) the bathroom was tiny and old, they do have free coffee in the lobby BUT no coffee maker in the room, no bar fridge in the room and you need to get ice from room service.

7. The rooms are somewhat small and somewhat dated, with old heat control in the room, making it hard to regulate the temperature but they are pretty clean.
