9. (So, Rod Serling, what's the epilogue?) The Algonquin Hotel is still a terrific place, despite the indifference of its breakfast staff who seem trapped in an inexplicable parallel universe where service standards don't exist, minutes are measured by hours, food is no longer designed for enjoyment, and the species relies instead on the constant din of clanging silverware for sustenance.
