1. Unfortunately, the best part of the hotel and the true reason we stay here ( Matilda, the famous Algonquin cat) was banned by Mayor Bloomberg's administration during our stay.

4. I found that I could get a king suite with a sleeper sofa at reasonable rate in the Algonquinplus get breakfast at the Roundtable in the morning with a couple complimentary cocktails at the Blue Room too - plus discounted parking across the street.
