1. There is a bar overlooking the ocean with Hawaiian music some evenings, nice gardens, ocean views, hammocks, archaeological sites and, best of all, rock pools where sea turtles swim.

3. There is a great snorkel spot next to the hotel, and on the grounds of the hotel a nice garden, also take a walk around the tidal pools - remember to take water shoes.

8. Great staff, wonderful grounds (10 acres), located next to nice snorkeling in Kahalu'u Bay (for more serious snorkeling go the Place Of Refuge and snorkel 'two step').
