4. The Outrigger Keauhou (Kay-OW-Ho) is like your Hawaiian Auntie - warm, welcoming, fun, - a few cracks and wrinkles here and there - but you know you're home and loved when you're with Auntie.

6. Slept with the door open and listened to the waves crashing - perfect white noise:)The bar is also a great place to watch the world go by, lovely ocean views, and some wonderful Hawaiian entertainment and cocktails.

7. It was on the front corner, so we had lovely views of the ocean and also over the pool and the beach next door to the hotel.

8. There is a big shopping mall a short drive away, with a few different eating places; we fell in love with Sam Choy's restaurant there, which is just above the mall with a fantastic view of the ocean.
