1. Yes, the rooms are small, but when in NYC, why need a huge room, especially if you are attending work related conferences or traveling just for fun? The rooms have always been exteremly clean and the renovations are gorgeous.

7. Doormen simply don't exist, you have to open the huge and heavy doors everytime you come in and out (for an older one, or the moment you need to pass with your luggage, or simply after a exausting day in Manhattan it becomes quite a big headache).
