1. All said, we had a terrific time; I mean, you're on vacation in Hawaii and the weather was great.

2. Great location on Kohala coast -- the beach isn't terrific, but if you have a car you can head to Hapuna or elsewhere nearby.

3. Breakfast was outstanding (especially the fresh fruit) and the indoor/outdoor location had terrific views.

9. Of the Queens' shop restaurants, our favorite was Sansei -- a terrific Japanese/fusion restaurant in the Queen's shops (you have to try the duck.

10. We also had terrific Thai food in Hilo, at Sombat's Fresh Thai Cuisine on Kanoelehua Ave (heaps of fresh vegetables and an amazing green curry where the flavor of fresh basil that the owner grows herself pops from the plate).
