Other than that, there are great options in Kona for
cheaper
and there are plenty of nice beaches on that side of the island.

When we got here, we found out about many of the time shared apartment nearby available for rent, and they are much
cheaper
then the hotel rate, but bigger and nicer, and many with kitchen.

not up to snuff for the high ticket price at allthen they try to slip a bill under your dour to tax you an extra 25 a day for internet (didnt even use it) and parking???had a way better time down in kona at uncle billys for cheap (no hidden fees for internet and such)there are lots of nice places to stay around kailua-kona for
cheaper
with nearby awesome beaches and nice little kailua-kona town with food and activitiesluckily we only wasted one day therelive and learng and k =).
