A couple of times we placed orders with the wait staff only to have it totally forgotten, so the
best
thing is to just go to the bar area and get your own drinks and such, as the waiters could easily be distracted and your order never received.

This resort area is near some of the
best
beaches in the States, so we spent very little time here during the day.

Yes, there are those who think of this hotel as '
best
Western Waikoloa' but the rooms have those nice comfy beds you sink into and most all of the rooms face towards the ocean or the bay (compared to the Hilton or Mauna Kea where a good portion of the rooms have a 'mountain view' only).

We got a couples massage and both of us thought they were the
best

A great omelette bar, loads of fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, the worlds
best
banana bread, fresh juices, yoghurt, oatmeal, cereals, many breakfast meats, homefries and even rice and veggies.
