3. It was surprisingly quite, except if you were in the bathroom then it sounded as though you needed a priest to do an exorcism.

4. Don't except any niceties such as a mint on your pillow, complimentary water bottles, or even a newspaper.

5. Loved the pools there, they were heated except for the pool with the slide.

6. CONS: Some insects/ants in room (I was on ground floor), no free internet except in lobby, use of computer in business center cost money (but free board pass printing), can get a little noisy.

7. Driving to the Marriott you can see that the area gets mostly sun as there isn't much foliage except at the resorts whereas Kona is surrounded by lots of natural foliage.

8. The Marriott runs discount food specials and also has better food than the Hilton (except the Hilton's mega-expensive KPC restaurant, which is worth the cost and experience if you can get a seaside table; split an entree to save $$$, it will be plenty of food).
