1. 3 pools - 1 with a slide kids loved it, 1 with sand bottom for toddlers and 1 infinity pool the pools were open 24hrs which was new to us and they were heated.

2. Room service making up rooms was equally spotty, some days room would be made up nicely, other times no new towels and the only way you knew the room was made up was the bed was made and the notepad where I had left a thank you note and $5 tip for housekeeping was literally tossed across the table (maybe it was a bad tip?).

3. It was our 30th anniversary, and we had spent our honeymooon in this hotel (Sheraton at the time, newly opened), but I guess Marriott doesn't acknowledge that any more.

4. The couches and sitting areas in the lobby were beautiful--we ate out there one night (I saw reviews saying pillows were dirty, etc on the outside furniture--I did not see that at all) We stayed between Christmas and new Years, which can be a nightmare, but was not at all.
