Hotel has a great pool area and lots of places where you can park yourself and enjoy the mornings or the sunsets from either the beach area or from a
comfy
chair or sofa in the open-air hotel atrium area.

Yes, there are those who think of this hotel as 'Best Western Waikoloa' but the rooms have those nice
comfy
beds you sink into and most all of the rooms face towards the ocean or the bay (compared to the Hilton or Mauna Kea where a good portion of the rooms have a 'mountain view' only).

The bed was super
comfy
for us (although others don't like it, based on other reviews), however it seemed that the sheets were too small, because every morning we woke up with one of us partially lying on bare mattress - annoying.

The rooms were clean and
comfy
, but the bathrooms showed some wear and age with peeling vinyl wallpaper and an overall tired appearance.

The open air lobby, restaurant and lounging area with it's
comfy
couches and (gas fed) fire pits all had a view of the grounds, beach, pool and ocean, along with the ancient ponds.
