1. My bathroom, though not one with a view of the ocean, was also wonderful, excepting older tub/showers.

2. It was breezy most days during our last visit, so we didn't even try to go to the beach & stayed at the pool, which is OK but they don't call it the Mauna Kea Pool Hotel, do they?Anyway, we love the place, off the beach the staff are wonderful, & it would take a lot to chase us away.

4. The beach is wonderful, enough waves for some body surfing but you can also swim and snorkel as much as you want.

6. The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is located on an exquisite beach, the rooms are beyond posh, the staff is friendly (although oddly devoted to the late Laurence Rockefeller), the restaurants are wonderful and expensive.
