1. the view outlook was fabulous; the balconies are generously sized so that you can enjoy a room serviced dinner, which by the way was also fabulous; and, the rooms are meticulously clean.

3. The re-done rooms are a little too 'flavor of the month' for my tastes, despite the hotel's attempt to maintain the mid-century ambience with the the generous use of wood shelving, nightstands and cabinetry.

4. Though generously bedecked in teak and visually appealing, the building -- in marked contrast to those built these days, which always seem to have to make some sort of 'statement' -- seems to have been designed to get out of your way so you can enjoy the outdoors in that ideal climate.
