Other genius ideas from the accounting department include $15-a-day self parking at a satellite lot (valet is even higher) & obscene daily Wi Fi charges - when you are paying a top rate of $500 to $775 a day it's not really about the money, it's about feeling like you are being played - for a place that relies on repeat business with long term stays, these are not good ways to maintain good will.

7. The Kohala sunshine is brutal & unless you want to look like a basketball (& some of the oldtimers do), you need an umbrella.

9. The waiting area is not that cushy and I like it when they offer flavored waters and maybe some fresh fruit or nice touches like that so i wouldn't say its the place to go for a great spa experience.
